Is ethical & sustainable fashion boring?

I definitely feel that the sustainable fashion tends to highlight a certain aesthetic of minimalist neutral style.

While I understand that this is due to the ability to style neutrals multiple ways, wear for a variety of seasons, and particularly popular with the capsule wardrobe trend, I think we have to understand that not everyone is a fan of minimalistic style!

I love colorful clothing way more and I know I’m not alone in this!

When I first entered the ethical fashion space I didn’t feel like my style fit in. I’ve always loved quirky patterns, bright colors, and that’s not what I saw with mainstream ethical fashion brands.

It took me a few years, but I finally found some amazing brands that celebrate colorful clothing, use ethical practices, and eco-friendly fabrics.

I’ve created this guide to highlight fun sustainable clothing brands for anyone else who might feel like their style doesn’t fit in to the traditional sustainable fashion aesthetic.

The truth is ethical fashion is whatever you want it to be….bold, funky, bright! It’s up to you!

Your closet is a unique extension of your personality and I don’t want anyone to feel they need to compromise their style for values because I believe style and values can go together.

Consider finding some pieces unique to you at your local thrift shop or exploring the brands below!
