My Miller Tree Inn Review: A Cozy Stay in Forks, WA

The Milller Tree Inn is a fabulous place to stay if you’re hoping to explore Olympic National Park or find some peace and quiet.

My husband and I have stayed here twice and adore it!

I love finding locally owned accomodations, so discovering this family owned inn with a rich history was perfect.

Plus, if you’re a Twilight fan you’ll love the lore! The house is located in Forks, WA and matches the book description of the Cullen House!

Why We Love Staying at the Miller Tree Inn

The Miller Tree Inn is a beautiful 3.5 hour drive from Seattle making this an easy getaway for us!

From the second we steppd on the property, we felt relaxed. The owners and staff are always so kind and welcoming.

The tall trees, cows roaming next door, and birds chirping on the porch are all part of what makes this place a peaceful getaway.

It’s a great place for anyone who wants to slow down.

The house is so cute and well kept up. The original farm house was built in 1916 as a homestead and became an inn in 1984.

Location

The Miller Tree Inn is located in Forks, WA and is such a convenient location for exploring Olympic National Park.

During our visits we were able to visit Ruby Beach, Cape Flattery, the Hoh Rainforest, Lake Crescent, and more!

  • Lake Crescent: When driving to the Miller Tree Inn from Seattle, Lake Crescent is an easy stop. On our first trip we just stopped by the lake, but on our most recent trip in 2025 we did the Devils Punchbowl Hike. It’s about an hour away from the Miller Tree Inn.

  • Ruby Beach: Ruby Beach is about a 40 min drive from the Inn. It’s a beautiful place to explore the coast of the PNW.

  • Hoh Rainforest: The Hoh Rainforest is a magical place! This is about a 50 min drive from the Miller Tree Inn. If you love moss and old growth, the Hoh is a must go!

  • Cape Flattery: We made this a day trip as it’s about a 1.5 hour drive from the Miller Tree Inn. The views are beautiful and it’s worth the drive!

Room Review

We stayed in the Elk Room both visits. This room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.

We enjoyed the view of the cows grazing next door.

The common areas make it easy to connect with other guests or chat with the friendly owners.

On our most recent visit in the fall of 2025, we learned that there are some changes to breakfast and they will now be providing some complimentary breakfast items in room.

What’s the Best Time to Visit?

I think whatever time of year you go, Miller Tree Inn will offer a cozy and comforting experience. We have been in May and October.

Both of our stays were three nights. I think this is a great amount of time depending on what you’re trying to do or see!

I would absolutley recommend staying at the Miller Tree Inn! It’s such a special place! A wonderful spot for slowing down, enjoying nature, exploring Olympic National Park, or exploring the Twilight history in Forks, WA.

I can’t wait to go back again!
