My Sakara Detox Level II Review:

I honestly didn’t love the Detox Level II especially in comparison to their other programs I’ve tried. Here are a few quick things I did and didn’t like.

Pros:

  • I appreciated that this detox had real meals. When I think of detox I typically think of juices and liquid diets. However, I liked that this consisted of actual meals.

  • Fresh & organic ingredients

  • Ready made meals. No cooking required. And easy for keeping up with your detox while on the go.

  • I enjoyed the tonics and hydration drinks. This is something the Signature Program and Metabolism Reset programs did not have. The Calming Chamomile Tonic was my favorite.

Cons:

  • Honestly, the meals in this program were not my favorite. I think the food in the Signature program has better flavor.

  • Cost: While I was gifted the food for this round of detox, the program is $465 for five days. It’s pretty pricey.

  • For me personally, I experienced some pretty intense headaches. Even with keeping black coffee in my routine. I did notice on the digital guide that it is recommended to prepare your body a few days before, so had I known to do that ahead of time, maybe this would have reduced the amount of headaches.

Of the meals I had, I think the Veggie Enchiladas, Organic Flax Bar, Mixed Berry Smoothie, and Mediterranean Protein Bowl would be my favorite.

I really didn’t like the Lasagna Verde, Thai Green Curry Soup, or Rainbow Kitchari.

Is the Level II Detox Worth It?

I think when you’re deciding whether or not to do the detox it’s important to know what your end goal is!

If your goal is to really seriously detox, then this might be a good fit for you!

My motivation was being excited to eat healthier for a week.

So, I think if your goal is just to eat healthy, the Signature Program might be a better fit.

I think five days of detox was a bit of an overcommittment for me, but I’m glad I tried it.

For me personally, I would prefer the Signature Program. There is more customization and I liked the taste of the meals better. I also felt really good on this program.
