Back in July I got to try out some ethically made summer clothes from Everlane. I’ve posted some of the styled outfits, but am just now getting around to actually reviewing the items. Everlane partners with ethical factories around the world to ensure their clothes are crafted to last. Through their ethical practices and emphasis on quality materials Everlane fights for radical transparency in the apparel industry.

The Easy Chino Shorts- $45

The Easy Chino Shorts are seriously my new favorite shorts because of the stretchy waistband. The waistband keeps these shorts super comfy and being made with 98% cotton, the shorts are light weight. Great for hot summers. The pockets are an added bonus for taking your phone along….or snacks. I’m wearing the stone color which is a more neutral color. I appreciate that I can style these with a variety of tops. The neutral color is also great for transitioning in between seasons. These will be great for fall too! Everlane has a variety of colors in these chino shorts and they’re an affordable price of $45.

The Japanese GoWeave Essential Jumpsuit — $120

I immediately fell in love with the Japanese GoWeave Essential Jumpsuit due to the color. I love the bold, yet relaxing shade of blue this jumpsuit adds to my wardrobe. To be honest, I’m not a jumpsuit/romper person….this is the second jumpsuit I’ve ever owned. For the longest time I would try jumpsuits on in stores and felt like I could never rock it. I started to feel like maybe it took a certain body type to rock a jumpsuit….the slim figure that I don’t have. But this jumpsuit really proved me wrong. I fell in love with the fit and felt like it hugged my curves in all the right places. The tie creates a flattering waistline and can be tied different ways depending on what best flatters your body type. There is a beautiful v neckline in the front and back of the jumpsuit making it fun to accessorize. AND pockets! I love dressy clothes with pockets! This jumpsuit is GREAT for a night out because not only does it make a bold statement, but you can take your belongings with you in the pockets.

The Weekend Tee Dress- $30

The Weekend Tee dress is the perfect casual, comfy dress for lounging around. Since I work from home most days I appreciate clothes like this that are comfortable. This dress is 100% cotton, so it did shrink a bit, but I actually loved the way it shrunk. I felt like after washing it the dress gave me a bit more figure. When I first received the dress I felt like I was swallowed in a big tee, but after shrinking a bit it felt like it fit better and hugged around the right places giving me a bit more figure. Comfy either way, but I adored the way it fit after the wash. The navy color I chose makes it great for transitioning into the fall season as well.

The Day Crossover Sandal— $88

I love the neutral color of The Day Crossover Sandals. The camel color makes it easy to pair with a variety of outfits and the crossover style is very trendy. These sandals are perfect for an evening chilling on the patio by the pool or for showing off your freshly painted toes. The high quality leather used to craft these sandals ensures they’re meant to last.
