White Field Farm is a social enterprise providing employment to survivors of human trafficking through the creation of soaps, candles, lotions, and more.
White Field Farm has partnered with a local non-profit The HOPE Project. The HOPE Project was founded due to the high human trafficking rate in Long Island and the disconnect between resources and survivors recovering. The Hope Project saw an opportunity and is in the process of creating a program centralizing resources survivors need. The HOPE Project’s vision is to offer survivors two years of housing rent free, provide access to therapy, dental and medical care, employment, and other necessary needs to begin the healing process.
The survivors are employed by White Field Farm to create all natural body products and soy wax candles. White Field Farm is a farm established by the sisters of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Monastery in 2014, donating all profits to philanthropic activities. White Field Farm uses high quality ingredients sourced from the U.S. and makes their products in Long Island. White Field Farm was able to employ their first survivor beginning in 2017. Through this employment program survivors will be able to learn job skills, take on new responsibilities, and rediscover who they are. While White Field Farm is run by the All Saints Greek Orthodox Monastery, the program is open to survivors of all religions.
I truly appreciate that White Field Farm is inclusive of all religions and I think they are going to make a positive impact on the healing process of survivors in Long Island. I am excited to watch them grow and expand. White Field Farm products are lovely! They all have fresh, clean scents. I think my favorite product so far is the Sea Clay Soap! I encourage you to check out White Field Farm products to help the growth of The HOPE Project and recovering survivors.
