Charcoal Viola Romper: The Fabric Social

The Fabric Social works through collaborative partnerships in India & Myanmar turning unique fabrics into fashionable garments. By partnering and providing business for existing women run co-ops, The Fabric Social is able to help co-ops expand, offering safe working conditions and fair payment to more women in these communities.

My Charcoal Viola Romper is perfect for this humid Texas weather. My romper is incredibly breathable with the loose fit and soft fabric. I love the tie around the waist that highlights my figure while keeping the garment comfortable. The tie is the perfect touch!

The Charcoal Viola Romper is made from The Fabric Social’s flagship fabric Eri-Silk. This beautiful fabric is made by talented women suppliers in Assam. The dedicated ladies grow castor trees for the silkworms, raise the worms, care for the worms through metamorphosis, and eventually spin the silk into yarn. The suppliers keep the process chemical and pesticide free, creating an organic finished product. So cool that this garment is made with thought and care.

With a color like charcoal, I’m able to accessorize this piece so many different ways. In this picture I’m wearing one of my favorite spring necklaces and a jean jacket. The brightly colored jewelry brights out the unique colors of the fabric showcasing both the dark and subtle white elements. Another fun way to accessorize the romper is with a fun pair of wedges!

One of my FAVORITE features about this romper is the pockets! The pockets are so handy for storing a small wallet or a phone. I am so thrilled that I can confidently wear my Charcoal Viola Romper due to The Fabric Social’s incredible transparency. I know my garment was made with love and kindness in mind.
